Personal Data Protection Policy-2019-V1-July 2019
The Personal Data Protection Policy specifies the general principles and commitments and in particular inserted in CCI websites, including the Airport website.

The objective of this policy is to inform users of the website and, more generally, of the services of the CCI of Limoges and the Haute-Vienne, manager of the Airport, commitments and measures taken by the CCI to ensure the protection of their personal data.
By using the CCI website and CCI services, users agree to the collection and use of their data as described in the policy.

Personal data collected from the site or from communications transmitted in particular by electronic means are processed by the CCI as controller.
The CCI undertakes to process the personal data collected in compliance with the applicable laws and regulations, in particular Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978, as amended, relating to data processing, files and freedoms (“Computer Law and Freedoms”), and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data (“GDPR Regulation”).

Data collected

Personal data may be collected when users:

  • browse the website;
  • send a question via the contact form;
  • contact the Airport directly;
  • subscribe to a newsletter;
  • register for events and/or participate in games/contests;
  • request a quote;
  • make a purchase online;
  • respond to surveys;
  • respond to commercial offers;
  • etc…

Collection finalities and legal bases

Personal data that is collected directly or indirectly (connection data) serves explicit, legitimate and specific purposes.
They are collected and processed in order to:

  • improve our knowledge of the customer;
  • provide the requested services or information;
  • to answer questions and requests;
  • to transmit communications for the sending of newsletters, invitations to events, commercial offers, investigations;
  • ensure the operation and security of the site, improve its content and operation and adapt it to requests;
  • perform “de-identified” statistical calculations.

The CCI reserves the right not to respond to requests from individuals who refuse to disclose some of the information legitimately identified as mandatory on registration forms, information requests, etc.
The legal basis for these treatments is:

  • the public service missions of the CCI;
  • the execution of its pre-contractual and contractual commitments;
  • its legitimate interest in developing relationships with its clients, prospects and partners, ensuring the proper functioning and security of the website, and evaluating its audience;
    consent of affected persons where required by the GDPR.


Recipients of personal data

The personal data are intended for the relevant departments of the CCI and its technical service providers. They may be made available to partners and transmitted to third parties:


  • in cases required by laws and regulations;
  • either after the express consent of the data subject.


Retention of personal data

The CCI retains personal data only for the period necessary for the processing carried out.
The client/prospect data in connection with the treatments mentioned in, above, shall be kept, unless the data subject consents otherwise, for one year.
The data for sending the newsletter are kept until the user unsubscribes.


Security of personal data

The CCI shall put in place measures to ensure the protection of the confidentiality and security of personal data collected in the course of its activities. The CCI shall also ensure that its technical service providers likely to have knowledge of personal data respect the same confidentiality.


Exercice of rights

Each person has:

  • rights of access and rectification to correct, complete, delete or update or delete personal data;
  • the right to request the limitation of the processing of personal data;
  • the right to object to the processing of personal data for a legitimate reason.

It may also, at any time and without cause, oppose the processing of its personal data for communication purposes
