Limoges Airport has been considered “eco-engaged” by the first french airport marketplace, Aéroports Voyages. It has been granted with a 3,5/5 mark for its actions aiming carbon emission reduction, biodiversity conservation around its airports facilities and into energies use optimization.
Aéroports Voyages has launched a unique ecologic criteria aimed to promote a more sustainable aviation. Its vocation is to help travelers take aware decisions in order to reduce their flight environmental footprint, taking into consideration the chosen airport, airline, route and flight. This algorithm claims to be neutral and fully transparent by complying with the official published scenarios and actions for aviation’s decarbonization.
