From 2 April 2025, all travellers (except British citizens) entering the UK, including babies, will need an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA). The only exception is for minors travelling as part of a school group.

 

Key points to remember: 

✅ Validity: 2 years or until passport expires 

✅ Cost: £10 (≈ €12), rising to €16 from 9 April 

✅ Stays: Multiple entries for a maximum of 6 months 

✅ Availability: From 5 March 2025
